Fume Hood

Fume Hood is a safety equipment used in labs for protecting personnel and the environment from harmful gases, fumes, and vapors generated during experiments or chemical processes. It consists of an enclosed workspace with a transparent front sash or window that can be closed or opened. The Fume Hood is connected to an exhaust system, which captures and removes hazardous fumes, and hence directs them safely outside the lab. The airflow within the fume hood creates a containment zone, that prevents the escape of toxic substances. This hood is equipped with controls for adjusting airflow, that ensures a safe working environment for laboratory personnel.
